Brainstorming

Last year for our opening two minutes, we decided to do the genre Horror, however this year we wanted to challenge our abilities and skills. After watching trailers for a wide range of genre, we agreed to work with Drama, as it’s a genre that interests both my partner and me. We relies the difficulties that may arise when creating a trailer for drama compared to a Horror. This is because drama tends to have storylines that are more dramatic and moves the audience emotionally. Once we chose the genre we wanted to work with, we began to plan for our trailer by discussing ideas for the narrative, character, Mise en scene and camera movement. Depression is the concept we decided to focus on for our storyline.
